I’m from the small town of Pembroke, North Carolina, where we grew up bleeding Carolina Blue. I’m an avid Tar Heels basketball fan and a lifelong New York Yankees baseball fan—sports have always been a part of who I am.
Family is the center of everything I do. I’ve been blessed with a loving, beautiful wife and five incredible children—four amazing boys and one beautiful princess. They are my greatest motivation and the foundation behind the values I bring into every home I build.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and Project Management in 2003 from UVSC, now Utah Valley University. While in school, I worked as a framer on high-end custom homes throughout Utah and Salt Lake County. That hands-on experience shaped my respect for craftsmanship, structure, and doing things the right way from the ground up.
To me, a home is far more than walls and finishes—it’s where families grow, thrive, and create lasting memories. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing something created by my hands become the foundation for someone else’s life.
Outside of building homes, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, traveling, and getting outdoors. Hiking is one of my passions, and I’ve been fortunate to experience incredible adventures, including hiking Mount Everest Base Camp and Mount Kilimanjaro. I love exploring new places, embracing challenges, and making memories along the way.
Serving others is something I genuinely enjoy, and I believe the process should be just as meaningful as the finished product. Whether I’m coaching, attending sporting events and concerts, or helping clients bring their vision to life, relationships and experiences matter deeply to me.
At DC Homes, every project is personal. I believe in integrity, craftsmanship, and building homes that truly mean something. That belief is the reason behind our motto:
“Every Home Built As Our Own.”
